The senior leadership of Presbyterian Senior Living includes executives who are committed to serving our organization as well as the communities that extend beyond our network of retirement communities and senior living locations. From downtown Dillsburg to Darfur, Africa, the reach of our concern for others knows no geographic boundaries. We hope our passion and leadership provide an example of the standard of commitment to humanity inherent in our organization.

Stephen Proctor
Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Proctor has enjoyed a long tenure with Presbyterian Senior Living. He joined the organization in 1971 and has since held positions as Registered Nurse, Director of Nursing, Executive Director, and Chief Operating Officer prior to becoming CEO in 1996. Mr. Proctor continues to work each day toward fulfilling his commitment to serve the residents, families and staff of Presbyterian Senior Living, as well as those in need of support outside of our network of retirement communities and senior living locations. He is a past chairman of PANPHA, AAHSA and IAHSA, and he currently sits on the boards for Forgotten Voices International and the The Nativity School of Harrisburg.

James Bernardo
Executive Vice President - Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Bernardo has more than more than 35 years experience as a social worker and gerontologist, working in aging services his entire professional career in community and facility based settings.  He has been employed by Presbyterian Senior Living since 1985 as an Administrator, Executive Director and regional Operations Director prior to assuming his present role of Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Bernardo is actively involved in the professional community serving positions of state and national leadership.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging (AAHSA) is the associationsí treasurer, and past chair of its membership and education committees. He is also a past Chair of the Pennsylvania Association of Non Profit Homes for the Aging.  Bernardo, serve CARF-CCAC as a member of its international standard review process and surveyor.

Jeffrey Davis
Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Presbyterian Senior Living, Mr. Davis held various positions in the field of finance, working at Dahlstrom Manufacturing, Eastern College, GAF Materials Corp. and at KPMG in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. Mr. Davis is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Certified Management Accountants, Pennsylvania Institute of CPA’s and the Institute of Management Accountants. In addition to presenting at the state, national and international levels on our industry’s best practices, Mr. Davis teaches part-time at the School of Professional Studies at Eastern University.

MaryAnne Adamczyk
Senior Vice President for Corporate Relations

Ms. Adamczyk has over 30 years of experience as a Human Resources professional in a variety of industries including banking, manufacturing and acute care. Beginning as Director of Employee Relations with Presbyterian Senior Living, she now oversees human resources, compliance and legal/liability issues. During her 20-year tenure with Presbyterian Senior Living, the organization has grown from 1,100 to more than 2,700 employees at locations across four states. Ms. Adamczyk is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the Central Pennsylvania Human Resource Professionals. She is the facilitator of the PANPHA Technology work group, serves on the AAHSA Workforce Cabinet and has frequently presented at AAHSA.
