Ms. Burfeindt has worked in the health care field for more than 18 years. She is currently responsible for the operations of the Presbyterian Senior Living communities across Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and Ohio, as well as the programs and services provided to residents in independent living and affordable housing properties.

Donna Casner

Ms. Casner joined Presbyterian Senior Living in 1999 and has since held various positions within the Finance and Accounting department. As Controller, she is responsible for oversight of the accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budget and cost reporting functions.  Prior to her tenure with our organization, she worked as a consultant with KPMG's Senior Care Services practice focusing on reimbursement issues for skilled nursing facilities throughout the U.S. She is currently an active member on PANPHA's Financial Issues Committee.

Dan Davis
Regional Director of Operations

Mr. Davis has responsibility for the supervision of nine communities in Pennsylvania and Delaware in addition to overseeing the development of management training tools and dining services for all Presbyterian Senior Living communities. He has previously worked as both an Executive Director and a Health Care Administrator. He is an active member of PANPHA and is currently working toward his Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership at Shippensburg University.

Ms. Hess joined Presbyterian Senior Living in 2001 with more than 35 years of experience in strategic planning, product development, sales, communications, advertising and research in both long-term care and acute rehab hospital settings. She is responsible for supporting operations in the areas of census development, customer satisfaction measures, product and service development, brand positioning, promotional campaigns and communications/public relations.

Jeraldine M. Kohut
Corporate Director of Resident Programs

Ms. Kohut has 14 years of service with Presbyterian Senior Living and is responsible for establishing and supporting programs throughout all communities which support quality of resident life, provide services to persons with dementia, and facilitate person-centered services, recreation and enrichment programs, as well as the development of community education programs and solicitation of governmental funds. A former university professor of nursing, she has over 40 years of experience in hospital and long term care administration and nursing, and has written two books and numerous articles on health care for the elderly.

Laurel Shaffer

Ms. Shaffer has worked within the not-for-profit sector for more than 25 years, spending the majority of her tenure in professional fundraising. Currently, she is Vice President of Mission Support for Presbyterian Senior Living.  Her responsibilities include coordination and supervision of all fundraising and volunteer efforts.

Ms. Sobke has been with Presbyterian Senior Living since 2004.  She has over 30 years of experience in nursing and health care related services.  She is responsible for oversight of clinical programming for the Personal Care and Skilled Nursing Centers.  She also is the Risk Manager for the organization.

Ms. Walters joined Presbyterian Senior Living in 2007 to lead the development of the LIFE program, opening the first Center for everyday LIFE in the Lehigh Valley in 2009. Prior to 2007, Ms. Walters spent 20 years in KPMG’s Healthcare Advisory practice, the last seven of those years as a partner leading the national Senior Living Services advisory practice. She currently sits on the boards of the National PACE Association and the Central PA Chapter of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. She is a past board member of the American Diabetes Association of Central PA.
