Notice Posted March 16, 2020

Dear Friends and Family of Presbyterian Senior Living,

As you know, we are facing a significant health crisis that is instilling great uncertainty and at times a sense of fear in our world today. Whether you are a resident, staff member, resident family member, volunteer or board member, I want to thank you all for the trust you have placed in the staff at all of the Presbyterian Senior Living communities.

As we continue to watch this situation evolve with changes coming rapidly, it is my hope you find some comfort in knowing the community staff and leadership are working diligently to protect and support the health and well-being of all those we serve. I have been proud to witness the various teams working proactively together to execute their pandemic preparedness plans over the last two weeks in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus to PSL communities, and as of this date no residents or staff have contracted the virus.

At this time, and in accordance with CMS guidelines, Presbyterian Senior Living has restricted visitation to all of our health centers, personal care homes, and assisted living facilities to only those residents at end of life or receiving hospice services.  In addition, and out of an abundance of caution, we are highly discouraging visitation to any area of all PSL communities.

As a reminder, individuals with the following symptoms should not be visiting or reporting to work at any PSL community:

  • Signs or symptoms of respiratory infection: fever, cough, shortness of breath, or sore throat
  • Contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 or under investigation for COVID-19, or are ill with respiratory illness
  • International or cruise ship travel within the last 14 days to countries with sustained community transmission
