Yes, a maximum of two non-aggressive house pets, i.e., dogs, cats, and birds, are welcome. Pets must be leashed and have current vaccinations. Any pet-related damage is the responsibility of the resident.

Yes. Residents take pride in furnishing and decorating their new homes to reflect their tastes. Pembrook Gardens offers a great selection of custom upgrades. With approval of management, and for an additional charge, you can add special features or other individual selections to customize your home.

Building on a legacy of 97 years, PSL provides residential and care services to more than 6,000 seniors in 27 locations across the mid-Atlantic region. 

Pembrook Gardens is an expansion of our current Life Plan Community campus. It will seamlessly connect with Cathedral Village’s amenities and full continuum of care. 

Type A Care Inclusive Plan, Type B 50-Month Refund Plan, and Type B 50% Refund Plan. 

We are now taking reservations and anticipate the community to open in 2028. 

As a Life Plan Community, Pembrook Gardens provides access to the full continuum of care through Cathedral Village, including:

• Personal Care for help with daily activities
• Memory Care for those with Alzheimer's or dementia
• Skilled Nursing for 24-hour medical care and rehabilitation services

A Life Plan Community (formerly called a Continuing Care Retirement Community or CCRC) provides guaranteed access to multiple levels of care on one campus. You start in independent living and have priority access to higher levels of care if needed, often with predictable costs through your residency contract.
