Residential Living

Independent Living research shows that aging well—both physically and mentally—is largely dependent on lifestyle. Our goal is to ensure you have the opportunity to challenge yourself across all aspects of life, creating stronger balance and fulfillment. At The Long Community at Highland, we’re committed to providing you with comfortable surroundings. Whether it’s designing and renovating your apartment or villa to your preferred specifications, or offering an array of community services and events to choose from, we provide you with a variety of options so you can live your life your way.

Supportive Care

We encourage and support the well-being and individuality of every older adult. Our supportive care accommodations offer a comfortable atmosphere in which personal care promotes independence and meaningful living. This includes At-Home Services, Personal Care, Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation, and care for people with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

What is a Continuing Care Retirement Community?

A Continuing Care Retirement Community, or CCRC, provides older adults with the opportunity to thrive at every age with easy access to a full continuum of care and support services. While technically, The Long Community at Highland is not a CCRC, we provide many services one would expect from a traditional CCRC community, such as Personal Care accommodations and access to At-Home Services should you need it. Our services help you remain independent and in your home for as long as possible. Our complete range, or continuum of care, is offered within our community, amidst familiar surroundings, and provides long-term security and peace of mind.

"We do enjoy our apartment very much and like everything under one roof. Everyone is so friendly and we feel like one large family. There are many activities…. We are happy to call the Long Community our home."
