Please stop in on any Wednesday during the month of July. Visit our Personal Care neighborhoods and meet our staff. For more information, click here.
We encourage and support the well-being and individuality of every older adult. Our Personal Care accommodations offer a comfortable atmosphere in which individualized care promotes independence and meaningful living. You'll appreciate the time and attention we give to each resident living in one of our personal care accommodations. Ask about our two-room suites and apartments with kitchenettes!
At-Home Services are arranged for and provided by The Long Community at Highland staff who will work with you to develop a package of reasonably priced services tailored to meet your needs. Because we are on site, we don’t charge for travel time so you get more time with staff for the money. The Long Community at Highland also handles the criminal background checks, references, employee taxes and benefits, as well as insurance and workers compensation.
Our dining services consistently receive accolades from residents, staff, and guests alike. Our Resident Food Committee assists our Dining Service in planning the menu to ensure that we are accommodating the desires of our diners. We also offer $100 dining dollars per person, per month, to be used in our café or dining room.
We invite you to join us for dinner and talk with our residents about the quality of our services. For those living in Personal Care accomodations, three nutritious meals, snacks, and beverages are included. Personal tray delivery is also available.
We want to help you to feel free to create new friendships, embrace new hobbies, and achieve new goals. For this reason, The Long Community at Highland offers a wide range of services to help you live an active and healthy life.
The use of our on-site fitness equipment is provided, at no additional charge, to residents living at The Long Community at Highland. Additionally, we offer other supportive care services to assist residents with activities of daily living. These services are available on a long- or short-term basis, such as after a lengthy illness or hospitalization. Non-medical assistance services are also available.
