What is End of Life and Comfort Care?

PSL works with families and residents to create individualized care plans when the end of life is imminent. The goal is to honor the remainder of your time on this earth. We work with you to minimize pain and symptoms and improve comfort not only physically but emotionally, socially, intellectually and spiritually for you and your support system. At times, this care may be supplemented with hospice services from an outside agency cooperatively supporting the individual with the PSL team and family.

"My mother lived in Independent Living, later received At-Home Services, then Assisted Living followed by Skilled Nursing. The entire experience was positive from start to end. In the Health Center the therapy department, community life, nursing, and dining departments were amazing. The staff worked side by side with hospice and provided wonderful care. They went the extra mile and remembered the little details that made my mother happy and comfortable while keeping our family connected. They knew my mother's limitations and always accommodated with a smile and were genuinely happy to do so.”
