At-Home Services at PSL
No matter where you live on a Presbyterian Senior Living campus, we can help you with your in-home needs. Whether it's walking your dog, providing you with some companionship to combat isolation, or assisting with your activities of daily living, PSL’s at-home services are tailored to what you need.
What are At-Home Services?
At-home services allow residents to stay independent and active as long as possible while remaining in the comfort of their own homes. You may only want to have someone to help walk your dog or spend time helping you with household chores. Maybe your needs involve assistance with your activities of daily life. Your individual needs are discussed with our service providers in order to have an experience focused on the help you need to thrive in your home.
“When my parents moved into a PSL community, my mother was in the early to mid-stages of Alzheimer’s disease. As her health declined, our family worked with a Resident Services Manager to devise a plan for my mother’s increasing daily needs. We are thankful for the competent and compassionate caregivers that cared for my mother and provided support to my father. It was a blessing that my mother was able to receive care at home as her illness progressed and during the last weeks of her life.”

At-Home Services FAQs
What can you expect from at-home services? We've answered some of the most frequently asked questions below.
Are services provided by PSL employees?
Yes. Services are coordinated and provided by PSL employees. This helps ensure that staff are properly trained and meet the expectations for the level of service you have come to expect from a PSL community.
My loved one often forgets to take their medication. Does that mean they need to move to a higher level of care?
Not necessarily. Many residents can remain in their homes longer with the help of medication reminders from at-home services. Staff assists with filling prescriptions, coordinating delivery and scheduling daily morning and/or evening reminders. Providing this service helps ensure that medication is taken properly and allows us to provide daily check-ins to monitor changes in their health.
Are at-home services covered by insurance?
No. Services provided are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or private insurance plans. Participants are required to pay for services out of pocket.
How Much Do At Home Services Cost?
