Who does this help and how does
your gift make a difference?

Founder's Day gifts support the Resident Assistance fund which helps residents and villagers who have been good financial stewards yet have outlived their resources and can no longer fully afford the services or care they need. Resident Assistance helps cover the cost of fees/housing, meals, health insurance premiums, medical care, and other necessities for residents and villagers.

What Your Generosity Means to Residents and Villagers

I am deeply grateful for Resident Assistance. It allows me to live comfortably and safely, much as I did in my own home, and I am treated no differently because I receive support. I am thankful for the donors whose generosity make Resident Assistance possible.

You never know who will need it, but it is a real need that actually makes a difference in a person's life.

I applied to receive Resident Assistance and at the point in time I ran out of money, PSL was there to help and enabled me to stay in my home and continue to age in place. I am very, very appreciative and I feel very fortunate. Years ago, I made a gift to the fund, not thinking I would need it. I am grateful for the donors who provide support so people like me who have long made a home here can stay.

Recipient of Resident Assistance

I support the Resident Assistance Fund: I feel I was very fortunate to find Glen Meadows and once I got here decided to support the effort to allow residents to stay here as long as needed. This gives me tremendous peace of mind that cannot be overemphasized. Because we share a home with independent, assisted and care dependent residents, one is never far from seeing our own future.
