A Summer of Music, Memories and Mission at Green Ridge Village

Community News  |  Green Ridge Village

The Green Ridge Village Summer Concert Series offered four memorable performances between May and August in the Ellen Parker Pavilion. Residents and their families enjoyed a variety of musical styles while gathering outdoors to celebrate the season.

The series featured:

    • Chambersburg Area Senior High School Steel Band
    • Vintage Brass Quintet
    • Kirk Wise Duo
    • John Thomas (J.T.), Green Ridge Village's Director of Dining Services

Each concert created opportunities for connection, entertainment, and community engagement.

Classic Car Show Draws a Crowd

Another highlight of the summer was the Green Ridge Village Classic Car Show, which attracted residents, families, and visitors alike. Fourteen classic and antique vehicles were on display, giving attendees plenty to admire and discuss.

The event offered much more than beautiful cars. Guests enjoyed food from a local food truck, specialty beverages from a coffee truck, and sweet treats including cake pops, lemonade, and iced tea. Local vendors also added to the fun, including a lavender farm and a florist, creating an experience with something for everyone.

The combination of classic cars, delicious food, local vendors, and community fellowship made the event a tremendous success while raising funds for Green Ridge Village.

A Summer to Remember

From live music in the Ellen Parker Pavilion to classic cars shining in the summer sun, Green Ridge Village enjoyed a season filled with fellowship, fun, and generosity. Donations collected throughout the concert series and classic car show raised nearly $500, helping extend care and support across the Green Ridge Village community.
