Presbyterian Senior Living, a non-profit provider of aging services, and Culinesse, LLC, a boutique dining services management company, announce the formation of a new joint venture: Three Oaks Senior Dining, LLC.
Three Oaks Senior Dining is a mission-driven dining management company designed to serve the unique needs of senior living communities owned and operated by multi-community networks such as PSL. This partnership combines PSL’s longstanding expertise in life plan community operations with Culinesse’s tailored, hospitality-focused approach to dining services management.
A New Senior Living Dining Evolution
“This joint venture is an exciting evolution in how we deliver gracious and innovative hospitality to residents and guests,” said Dan Davis, President and CEO of PSL. “With Three Oaks, we’re creating a dining experience that’s not just about food, but about fostering community, choice, and wellness.” Kate Hershey, COO of PSL adds, “Three Oaks represents strength, hospitality, and growth - qualities being nurtured by the power of two organizations through a spirit of great dining and values shared by Presbyterian Senior Living and Culinesse that are now embedded in Three Oaks.”
Three Oaks Senior Dining was born from a shared vision: to provide opportunities for residents and team members to thrive. The venture will emphasize:
- Resident-centered culinary experiences tailored to community culture;
- Enhanced training and career pathways for culinary professionals;
- Operational excellence through scalable, high-touch service models;
- Deep alignment with the values and missions of non-profit senior living
“Our goal is to serve with purpose,” said Lisa Schairer, who along with Mitch Possinger is a Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Culinesse. “Three Oaks is built on the belief that exceptional dining can create moments of joy, strengthen connection, and support the overall well-being of older adults,” added Possinger.
Three Oaks Senior Dining is currently preparing for phased implementation within all PSL life plan communities, with plans to expand services to other aligned multi-community senior living organizations in the coming years.
