Pine Run Village Donor Appreciation Event: A Celebration of Giving, Community, and Purpose

Mission Support & Philanthropy

On October 7, more than 50 villagers and team members gathered in The Auditorium to celebrate a remarkable year of generosity and shared commitment. Side by side, friends, neighbors, and colleagues raised a glass to their collective impact—honoring the achievements made possible through fundraising efforts in 2025. Together, an impressive $201,298.98 was raised to support initiatives and people within the Pine Run Village community.

The impact of that generosity was deeply personal. In 2025, 6 villagers received Resident Assistance, and PSL provided over $297,000 in direct support to Pine Run villagers. These funds helped cover essential needs such as housing fees, meals, health insurance premiums, medical care, and other necessities. In addition, 5 Pine Run Village team members facing crises—including medical emergencies, fires, car accidents, and unexpected funeral expenses—received vital support through grants totaling $3,685.

Community enhancements also flourished. 2025 marked a major milestone for the Pine Run Craft Barn, with the successful completion of Phase 1 renovations and the launch of the Phase 2 campaign. Phase 1 improvements transformed the facility with a new roof, siding, windows, and signature red front door, along with insulation, upgraded electrical service, ADA-accessible restrooms, and a HVAC system.

Phase 2 enhancements focused on new cabinetry, specialty lighting, expanded storage, and an A/V system upstairs, while downstairs improvements included new electrical service, lighting, a restroom, and a dedicated kiln room.

To support these exciting updates, a $650,000 Phase 2 campaign was launched in October, featuring a generous PSL match of $225,000. The response from the Pine Run community was extraordinary and the goal was reached in early 2026. Donations from Villagers, team members, and friends demonstrated strong support for the Craft Barn's future and its role as a vibrant center for creativity and community engagement.

In addition, another notable gift was for the Special Care nurses (part of At Home Services) to allow them to reach Villagers wherever they are, even in rain or snow. A villager couple made an anonymous donation to purchase a new Kubota for the Health Center. The all-terrain, enclosed, four-wheel-drive vehicle helps nurses reach residents quickly and safely.

The Donor Appreciation Event was more than a celebration of successful fundraising. It was a reminder of what makes Pine Run Village such a special community. Every gift, whether large or small, reflects a shared commitment to caring for neighbors, supporting team members in times of need and investing in programs and spaces that enrich daily life.

Through acts of generosity, compassion, and community spirit, donors continue to make a meaningful difference across Pine Run Village. As we look ahead, we are grateful for the many individuals whose support helps ensure that Pine Run remains a place where villagers can thrive, creativity can flourish, and help is always available when it is needed most. Thank you to everyone who has given, volunteered, and championed these important initiatives. Together, we are building an even stronger future for Pine Run Village.

As we celebrate these meaningful accomplishments, we’re reminded that every act of generosity—big or small—helps sustain the vibrant, caring community that defines Pine Run Village. Please consider making a gift to Pine Run Village.
