On October 6, residents and team members gathered in the Dining Room to celebrate a remarkable year of generosity and shared commitment. Side by side, friends, neighbors, and colleagues raised a glass to their collective impact—honoring the achievements made possible through fundraising efforts in 2025. Together, an impressive $45,902 was raised to support initiatives and people within the Westminster Village Dover community.
The impact of that generosity was deeply personal. In 2025, 16 residents received Resident Assistance, and PSL provided over $600,000 in direct support to Westminster Village Dover residents. These funds helped cover essential needs such as housing fees, meals, health insurance premiums, medical care, and other necessities. Perhaps Serena Leiser (pictured above) a resident and donor, summed it up when remarking, “God willing I may not need Residents' Assistance Fund but many of my neighbors and friends will and do. So I turn to the first words of the PSL Mission Statement 'Guided by the life and teaching of Jeus'. Jesus' life was spent taking care of those in need. I have been very blessed in life and now I am able to "pay it forward" and donating to the Residents' Assistance fund is one of the ways that I do that.”
In addition, 14 Westminster Village Dover team members facing crises—including medical emergencies, fires, car accidents, and unexpected funeral expenses—received vital support through grants totaling $10,250.
The Donor Appreciation Breakfast was more than a celebration of numbers. It was a testament to the compassion, generosity, and sense of community that makes Westminster Village Dover such a special place. Every dollar raised represents neighbors helping neighbors, team members supporting one another, and a shared commitment to ensuring that no one faces life's challenges alone. As we reflect on the impact made in 2025, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who gave, volunteered, and contributed. Together, we are strengthening lives, fostering hope, and building a community where care and compassion continue to make a meaningful difference every day.
