COVID-19 Restrictions at Communities Offering Residential Living Only

Presbyterian Senior Living recognizes and appreciates that some governmental agencies and portions of the general public are anxious to re-open businesses and begin more social activities.  Our main focus continues to be on you, the individuals we serve, who are among the most vulnerable citizens to experiencing devastating effects from this virus. 

Keeping this in mind and attempting to provide a balance between caution and the desires of the people we serve to engage in more social activities, we have developed the following approach. Buildings located on the campus of a community that offers healthcare services should follow the guidelines in the healthcare services guidance..  

All Communities Offering Residential Living Only Are Designated To Follow This Guidance:

Please bear in mind that should circumstances change and the county be moved back into a red status, there is a change in the COVID-19 status of the community, or there is a failure to follow the guidelines set forth, the permitted activities listed below may be modified or discontinued.

  • Permitted Activities Include:
    • Leaving Campus
      • Must wear a mask, maintain social distancing, and follow state guidance for indoor and outdoor gatherings
    • Visitors
      • Visitors to the community must sign in/out and attest that they have not been exposed to, or have symptoms of COVID-19
      • Visitors must follow recommended state guidelines, wear masks and maintain social distancing
      • Visitors are not permitted in common spaces
    • Community Common Spaces
      • Common spaces will be closed in communities with a substantial county positivity rate
      • Common spaces are for resident use only
      • Must adhere to posted occupancy restrictions, wear masks and maintain social distancing
    • Fitness Center
      • Must adhere to posted occupancy restrictions, wear masks and maintain social distancing
    • Salons (where applicable) will be open in counties with a low or moderate positivity rate
      • One resident permitted at a time
      • Masks must be worn
    • Grocery Shopping
      • Curbside pickup or delivery is preferred
    • Outdoor resident gatherings
      • 10 residents or less, wear masks and maintain social distancing
