Highlights from our Partners in Mission Reception and Jack Barnhart Memorial Golf Outing
Presbyterian Senior Living recently hosted two inspiring back-to-back events in support of our mission to serve older adults with purpose and compassion.
The celebration began with our Partners in Mission Reception, an evening of gratitude, storytelling, and connection with our generous supporters. The following morning, we teed off at the Jack Barnhart Memorial Golf Tournament, bringing together community members, donors, and partners for a day of fun and fundraising on the greens. Together, these events showcased the powerful impact of partnership and philanthropy in enriching the lives of those we serve.
Partners in Mission Generosity and Impact
It was an evening of gratitude, and inspiration at the annual Partners in Mission Reception, held at the historic King Mansion, Harrisburg, PA. Over 60 guests enjoyed delicious bites, an open bar, and stories that showcased the incredible impact of our philanthropic partners. PSL team members and residents shared how partner gifts are being put to work to support programs at the corporate and community level.

Our Partners in Mission support helps Presbyterian Senior Living fulfill its mission to provide housing and supportive services to older adults, as well as programs for our team members. Together, we're making a difference every day.
Because of donors like our Partners in Mission, PSL is able to provide a variety of supports, programs, services, and activities including:
- Resident Assistance which provides confidential and dignified care and helps cover the cost of monthly fees, meals, health insurance premiums, medical care, and other necessities for those who make PSL their home and who have run out of financial resources through no fault of their own.
- Community Enhancements that create a caring and comfortable environment;
- Resident Enrichment which provides activities that improve quality of life;
- Caring Community Hardship Assistance which grants financial support for team members experiencing a crisis or emergency;
- Scholarships for team members so they can continue their education

Annual Golf Tournament Benefits Senior Living Residents
This year the Jack Barnhart Memorial Golf Tournament benefitted the Resident Assistance Fund. Collaboration and philanthropic support are essential to address this need, and many sponsors rose to the occasion.
The Golf Tournament was held on August 5, at Colonial Golf & Tennis Club, Harrisburg. The course was packed with over 140 people. and the event raised over $131K.
