Geneva House provides seniors age 62 and over with the comforts of home nestled in the heart of the city. Our community offers comfortable and well-quipped efficiency and one-bedroom apartments with elevator accessibility.
Community activities, a computer room, lounge, common laundries, sunroom with a kitchenette and a front porch with comfortable seating are just a few of our features and amenities that make Geneva House a comfortable place to spend time with others.
Our on-site Supportive Services Coordinator is available to help residents with applications for food assistance, prescription assistance, and other entitlement applications as well as provide planning support for community social activities.

Section 8 determines rent at 30% of a persons gross income. The income limits vary according to the number of persons in your household. Please call for further details or download our Community Information Packet which includes our rate sheet and qualifying income worksheet for the community. We also have 15 apartments funded by Section 8 vouchers through the Lackawanna Housing Authority.
Yes! Rent includes water, sewer, trash removal, and all electric including heat and air conditioning. You’ll have the peace of mind of knowing what your living expenses will be each month.
Yes! Inexpensive transportation services are available for residents from Lackawanna County Transit. Geneva House is also within a block from markets, restaurants, pharmacies and banks. Some which deliver to Geneva House.
