This past Sunday was the beginning of Advent, the season of the Christian calendar set aside for personal and corporate preparation for the “coming” (which is what the word “Advent” means) of the Messiah.

Lancaster was rated based on categories such as housing affordability and healthcare quality. Not only is Lancaster highly ranked in the previously mentioned areas, but it is also thriving with activities suitable for everyone. Lancaster offers a balance between natural and urban spaces. From the history to the vast outdoor activities, there is always something to do.

This is the time of year when we pause to reflect on the blessings of life, and thank God for what we enjoy throughout the year. It is also a time for us to take stock and reset our thought process about how we see ourselves and those around us. I have a few thoughts I would like to share about how being thankful is beneficial to us as well as others.
